Reason behind the image:

Was feeling a mix of the jealousy and rejection and lonely and a whole lot of negative feelings at once. Pushed them aside. Had a dream that basically rehashed those feelings though in a different way (granted, in a sense, that still could count). Decided to draw it as it was a bit different - trying to get the emotion across and having ears twitch with the rain and things like that - so that it wasn't just a "normal image" that I draw.

Mmmm....

Edit: Pointing out that the following scenario didn't happen IRL (as far as the getting lost-type), but is the type that would happen in feeling such a way and such things were able to. My imagination took it there for me.

Imagine feeling so many conflicting emotions that instead of waiting to hear out any reasons (too afraid to hear what the answer is - or reasons) that you take off. You run to the point you get lost, but you don't really care. Part of you thinks it was nothing, but it's too late now. The jealousy and neglect and sadness overwhelms you and you run into an alley. There's a bit of cover from the rain, but not much at all. You're trying not to cry - trying to stop, trying to calm yourself down.

No one'll see you like this and no one ever should.
